Now on to something completely different for a change of pace! One of my goals for the last few months has been to get out to do more plein air work so I have cleared up Fridays and I am going out painting, rain or shine!   I have gone out with the Al Frescoes before, I am joining them again. They are a group that gathers every Friday Morning in different parts of the city and paint or draw.  At noon, everyone gathers, there's a bit of show and tell and shared packed lunch. It is really nice to see other people's work and meet new artists.  Today, it was very flat and grey but I persevered and in the end I ended up with an alright sketch. Of course, now that I took the photo and uploaded it I already see some changes that need to be done. Will get to them in the next few days.  We started at 9 something and by 11 I couldn't feel my fingers anymore and by 12 my toes were gone as well!  It was absolutely wonderful to get in the warm car when we were done!  Next time I'll remembre to take some pics of us painting! :)

Acá vamos con algo completamente diferente!! Una de mis metas estos últimos meses ha sido salir más a pintar al aire libre así es que he marcado todos los viernes del calendario y voy a salir a pintar, llueve o truene!! He ido con un grupo llamado los Al Frescoes en el pasado y voy a empezar a salir con ellos. Son un grupo que se junta todos los viernes en distintas partes de la ciudad y pintan o dibujan.  Al mediodia todos se reúnen, se muestra lo que se hizo esa mañana y se comparte el almuerzo que cada uno a traído. Es muy bueno salir y juntarse con otros artistas, conocer a nuevos. Hoy todo estaba muy muy gris pero seguí adelante y terminé con un bosquejo aceptable. Por supuesto, apenas le saco foto y lo subo aca, veo algunas cosas que tengo que cambiar, lo haré en estos próximos días.  Empezamos a las 9 y pico, a las 11 ya no sentía los dedos de las manos y a las 12 ya no sentía los dedos de los pies tampoco! Fue absolutamente maravilloso sentarnos en el auto caliente  a la vuelta! La próxima vez voy a tratar de acordarme de sacar fotos mas fotos. 

No me gusta la mayoría de lo que pinto al aire libre,  pero el proceso es lo que importa,

These last couple of paintings have been interesting.... I am working on a painting, just putting down shapes, adjusting colours and temperatures and thinking.... oh, this is not working, not working at all.... then I step back and look and go.... oh, it's almost done!

I called it "Celebration" because flowers are given so many times in celebration of something special, burthdays, new house, graduation, success, weddings.... May this one be a celebration for anything and everything that is going well in your life!

Este último par de días ha sido interesante..... Estoy trabajando en un cuadro, smplemente pintando formas, ajustando colores y tempearturas y pienso.... oh, esto no está funcionando para nada.... entonces hago unos cuanos pasos para atrás y digo.... oh, está casi lista!
La llamé "Celebración" porqu ela sflores  muchas veces se ofrecen  para celebrar ocasiones especiales, cumpleaños, casa nueva, graduació, casamiento, éxito. Les ofrezco estas flores como símbolo para celebrar cualquier cosa buena que esté ocurriendo en sus vidas!

I wanted to paint some roses so on my shopping trip to Costco and I took a few photos of the gorgeous bunches of roses they have there. I wanted to stay loose and I am quite pleased with the way it worked out!

This is the finished painting

For the last couple of days it has been my intention to get ahead a day but both days I ended up painting late in the afternoon  and bigger that I am used to so there has been no time left for a second one..... hopefully tomorrow!

I am not done with the tulip fields as you can see.....  the yellow ones are really hard to capture because it is a ridiculously intense almost fake looking yellow. I remember  the light changing with the sun coming in and out and sometimes you would get just a sliver of  a colour that completely changed everything! Absolutely incredible colour! As with most pieces these days, they need time to rest and I need to evaluate what will be changed if anything. The paintings themselves will tell me what they need. :)

Hace un par de días quiero poder adelantarme un día haciendo dos cuadros pero he terminado pintado tarde y más grande de lo que estoy acostumbrada asi que no llego a un segundo.... ojalá que mañana sea el día!

No he terminado de explorar los campos de tulipanes como verán..... los amarillos son dificiles de caputrar ya que el amarillo es tan fuerte que se ve como si fuera artificial. En algubos momentos, con el sol entrando y saliendo, se veía apeas una lía de color, absolutamente incríble! Como con todas las piezas que estoy haciendo estos días, tengo que dejarlas descansar y yo necesito evaluar lo que hace falta cambiar. :) Los cuadros mismos me van a decir lo que les hace falta!

Day 4 of 30: Fields of Joy

First Monday of the year!! Hope it well for all. For me, it was a bit of a sad day as my daughter went back to Vancouver to start her second semester of university.  I procrastinated to get started and then decided to do something different from the bouquets I have worked on for the last couple of days. One of my goals since I started my 260 days of art making (I am on day 82 by the way) was to paint larger oils.  I started with oils only a few years ago and I have mainly done smaller paintings, I am "growing" in size. This is the largest I have done to date and I am pretty pleased. Several painter friends kept telling me, it's just bigger brushes and more paint and they were correct of course!

Anyway, a couple of years ago, as I have mentioned before in this blog, I went to La Conner, Washington with 2 good artist friends just to paint the tulip fields.  When we got there, I was just stading in awe of the amzing colour in front of me. It was an incredible trip and I have wanted to blow up some of the studies I did back then en plein air. There will be more coming out soon :) It is not finished, but I have run out of time today (after all the procrastinating to get started!). I have to rush off to buy swimming bathing suit as I have registered in classes to polish my technique and get fit! Starting tonight. :) Thank you Judy for pushing me, hemmm, "inviting" me!

Primer lunes del año, espero que todos la hayan pasado bien. Para mi, fue un día un poco triste porque mi hija se volvió a Vancouver para empezar su segundo semestre de universidad. Procrastiné toda la mañana y finalmente decidí pintar algo diferente a los ramos que he estado pintado estos últimos días. Una de mis metas desde que comencé mis 260 dias de arte (voy por el día 82!) es pintar óleos mas grandes. Comencé con óleos hace un par de años y  he echo  más que nada cuadros chicos,  asi es que estoy "creciendo". Este es el mas grande hasta ahora y estoy bastante contenta. Varios amigos pintores me dijeron, es simplemente pinceles más grandes y más pintura y tenían razón!

Hace un par de años, como ya he mencionado en este blog, fui a La Conner, Washington con dos buenas amigas artistas. Fuimos a pintar los campos de tulipanes. Cuando llegamos, estaba completamente fascinada con la enormidad de color que tenía en frente mío. Fue un viaje increíble y hace rato que quiero pintar mas grandes algunos de los estudios que hice esos días. Van a ver unos cuantos más me parece. No está totalmente terminado pero me he quedado sin tiempo. Tengo que ir a comprame un malla para natación. Me acabo de anotar  para empezar clases esta noche! Another one that I have to let it breathe for a while! I am only on day 3 of this challenge and I already have a list of things I have learnt! Today and yesterday, I have been at the point of saying ok, I have to wipe this off and start from scratch when I actually stopped for a bite to eat and left the studio. I came back just half an hour later and I could see with fresh eyes knew where I need to make some changes.  I will let it be and reassess in a few days! As always, having a hard time getting a good photo of it.

Esta es otra que tengo que dejar descansar un rato! Vamos sólo por el día 3 y ya tengo una lista de cosas que estoy aprendiendo! Hoy y ayer, he estado a punto de decir, bueno, tengo que borrar el cuadro entero y empezar de nuevo. En ambos casos, paré para comer un bocado y cuando volví media hora más tarde pude ver con mas claridad las areas en las que tenía que hacer ambios. La voy a dejar sola unos días y después evaluo de nuevo! Como siempre, me resulta difícil sacar un abuena foto del cuadro.

I wanted to keep going with yesterday's bouquet, tried a few different set ups but they were not working, so I just went for a simple centered bouquet..... which is something I don't usually do, place my subject in the centre.   I need to let it be for a while before I decide if I am happy with it or not..... Next!   This is about the daily practice more than producing 30 masterpieces, always good to remind mysefl about it!

Quería seguir con el mismo ramito de ayer, probé un par de ideas diferentes pero no funcionaron así que hice un ramo simple en el centro que es algo que no hago mucho, poner mi sujecto en el medio de la composión. Tengo que dejarlo solo unos días ahora  (al cuadro)  antes de decidir si estoy satisfecha o no.... Seguimos adelante con el próximo. Day 1 of 30: Fresh Start

Well.... Here we go again! Day 1 of another challenge and the first day of the year! I love New Years, it's new beginnings, a fresh start, even if it's really not that different from the day before... The energy does feel different for me.

We had a few friends over last night for a New Year's Eve Get-together. A friend (who is a very talented artist by the way)  was after my heart and brought me this gorgeous little bouquet. I knew inmediately,  as well as she did, that I had to paint it so that is what I picked for today's efforts! I wanted to get the impression of the flowers in it, I wanted to stay loose and I am happy with the result! Will see later on after I've had some distance from it whether I go back and add or take away something. Thanks Madelaine!

Bueno, acá vamos de Nuevo! Día número 1 del desafío y el primer día del año! Me encanta el año nuevo, es tiempo de nuevos comienzos, aún cuando en realidad no hay mucha diferencia con el día anterior.... Hay una cierta energía que es diferente, para mí. 

Anoche para celebrar el año nuevo, recibimos algunos amigos en nuestra casa y una amiga (que es una artista de mucho talento) sabía lo que a mi me gusta y me trajo este ramito de flores. Inmediatamente supe que lo tenía que pintar (como ella sabia también) y esto fue lo que elegí para los esfuerzos de hoy! Quería pintar la impresión de las flores, mantenerlo fresco y estoy satisfecha con el resultado. veremos una vez que pasen unos días si le saco o agrego algunas cosas. Gracias Madelaine!!!

Wow, I certainly took a holiday from blogging didn't I? I was happy painting my life away and all of a sudden I realized Xmas was in one week and I hadn't done much to get ready for it other than taken out decorations for painting! (Well.... I had put them  up after I painted them!) Anyway, I got really busy with my birthday, my daughter home and the season itself. The little time left I had was for painting and drawing but never got to posting anything  here. I have certainly enjoyed (and still am) my daughter being home from university!

I had to save "Start Line" from posting as it was a commission  to be a Xmas present for someone . Now that Xmas has passed, I can go ahead and publish it. A couple of years ago I did several paintings from images I had taken at a local yearly sailing race here in Victoria called Swiftsure. I had sold the paintings, (see here and here) and when this person contacted me for one of them, I just painted another one!  She loved it, hope hubby did too! :)



On a different note, I am very exctied to have singed uop for the 30 day Painting challenge coming up Jan 1. Leslie Saeta hosts this challenge every year and this is going to be my 5th one. I have done 3 full ones, one half one from the hospital last Jan and I am eager to get going with this one. I am going to focus (I think) on flowers and gardens but I will give myself the freedok to either change things up if they are not working or if I get inspired to go in a different direction. If you are an artist, I highly encourage you  to do it as there is tremendous growth that happens when you do things consistenly for a perdiod of time. I have certainly seen gowth in myself! Wow!  Me tomé vacaciones del blog no? Estaba muy contenta pintando la vida y de repente me di cuenta que la navidad era la semana siguiente y no había echo nada mas que sacar algunas decoracions para pintarlas! (bueno.... si había decorado un poco la casa)  La cosa es que me ocupé mucho con mi cumpleaños, mi hija en casa y los preparativos navideños. El poco tiempo libre que me quedaba lo usé para pintar y dibujar y no para escribir acá. Les muestro mas adelante lo que pinté en esos días!

Tuve que esperar para mostrarles este cuadro ya que era un pedido para regalo de navidad y ahora que la Navidad ya ha pasado lo puedo publicar. Hace un par de años hice algunos cuadros de imágenes tomadas al comienzo de una carrera de veleros acá en Victoria que se llama Swifsure. Una clienta me contactó porque quería uno y como ya los había vendido, (veanlos acá y acá)  pinté otro. Le gustó mucho por suerte, espero que le haya gustado al esposo también! :)
   

Hablando de otro tema, estoy entusiasmada con haberme anotado para hacer otro Desafío de 30 Cuadros en 30 Días que empieza el 1 de Enero. Leslie Saeta lo organiza todos los enero y septiembre  y este va a  ser mi quinto. He echo 3 completos y uno a medias desde el hospital el año pasado y estoy ansiosa porque comience este. Voy a enforcarme en pintar flores y jardines pero con la libertad de cambiar rumbo si quiero. Si sos artista, te recomiendo hacerlo ya que yo he visto crecimento increíble cuando uno hace algo de forma consistente durante un período de tiempo.  Ciertamente yo he crecido mucho como artista con los anteriores! Vayan a anotarse en el link anterior. A few years ago I started sort of by accident to collect Nutcrackers, every year I seem to get one or 2 added to my collection and by now I have a fair number of them.... This year I wanted to paint them. So I set out to do it and he started getting ticked off with me with all the facials and different eyebrow and nose jobs he was getting! He was in much need of dental work a few times through the panting session. We had LOTS of conversations back and forth! In the end he was  pretty pleased with his portrait!


I was wondering a bit about the history behind nutcrackers, specially the look on their faces, they look very scary and mean. My son Mateo used to be afraid of them as a little kid. This is some interesting stuff I found, I specially like the reason for their stern looks.

According to German folklore, nutcrackers were given as keepsakes to bring good luck to your family and protect your home. The legend says that a nutcracker represents power and strength and serves like a trusty watch dog guarding your family from evil spirits and danger. A fierce protector, the nutcracker bares its teeth to the evil spirits and serves as the traditional messenger of good luck and goodwill. (We are very protected now then!!)

Hace algunos años empecé medio por accidente a coleccionar cascanueces, todos los años agrego uno o dos a la colección y ahora ya tengo unos cuantos.... Este año decidí pintarlos. Así es que empecé con uno y él se me enojó bastante con todos los tratamientos para la piel y los distitntos looks que le dí en las cejas y la nariz! En algunos momentos, le hacía mucha falta ir a ver al dentista! Tuvimos muchas conversaciones mientra lo pintaba y al final me parece que él terminó bastante contento con su retrato! :)

Tenía curiosidad por saber un poco sobre la historia de los cascanueces, especialmente el por qué
de sus miradas enojadas. Mi hijo Mateo les tenía miedo cualdo era chiquito. Acá hay un poco de información bastante interesante que encontré. Me gusta especialmente la razón por la que tienen esa mirada tan enojada. 

De acuerdo con el folklore alemán, los cascanueces se daban de regalo para que trajeran buena suerte a la familia y para que protegieran el hogar. La leyenda dice que el cascanuez representa poder y fortaleza y sirve de guardián de tu casa contra espíritus malignos y peligro. Es un protector feroz, que muestra sus dientes a los espíritus malignos y sirve de mensajero tradicional de buena suerte y buena voluntad. (Estamos muy protegidos entonces en mi casa!)

I have been opening boxes with Xmas decorations and I found these little angels I have had  forever. They are made of fabric and it is a string of them except that a few years ago the string broke and I have meaning to fix it as  I just can't part with them. Anyway,  I set them up in my still life section and I love them! I like how one of them is kind of holding the other up, just like when best friends lift each other up when in need. Hope you like them!


I've been wanting to write about this for a while: How to keep up with reading the blogs you love?? About six/seven  years ago I didn't quite know what a blog was. I remember asking a friend and she tried to explain the concept and how it worked but it was pretty confusing for me at the time anyway. Fast forward a few years and now it's hard to believe I have published over 200 blog posts myself! Nowadays blogs is one of the main sources of inspiration for me, I read them daily and I follow people I admire and respect. It can be daunting though to try to remember to go to everyone's blogs or to get them in email format, we all get enough emails everyday! To make my life easier I use an app that makes it very simple to stay on top of all of them. That App is free and called FEEDLY.  Basically I just add blogs I like  to my list, I  can categorize them if I want to and it produces a reading list for me and I can read it at my leisure. I just read that you can add publications and YouTube channels as well as blogs (I learn something new everyday!)  That is actually how I start my day: sipping coffee in bed, getting inspired and learning from artists all over the world. I actually set up my alarm clock an hour earlier than I have to get up in order to have enough "me" time.

He estado abriendo cajas de adornos de Navidad y encontré estos angelitos  que hace un montón que los tengo. Son de tela, están unido por hilo grueso que hace algunos año se rompió  y lo tengo que arreglar. La cosa es que los puse en mi zona de naturaleza muertas  y me encantan!! Me gusta como uno es como que lo está levantando al otro de la misma forma que los amigos se apoyan en momentos de necesidad. Espero que les gusten!

Hace rato que quiero  escribir sobre esto: Como poder estar al tanto de todos los blog que te encantan?? Hace seis/siete años ni sabía lo que era un blog. Me acuerdo que una amiga trató de explicarme cómo funcionaban y la verdad es  que no lo entendí muy bien. Hacé para adelante unos cuantos años y me parece increíble que ya he publicado mas de 200 posts! Actualmente los blogs son una de las principales formas de inspiración para mí, los leo a diario y sigo a artistas que admiro y respeto.  Pero  puede ser difícil acordarse de todos o puede ser demasiado recibirlos a todos en tu email. Para simplificarme la vida, uso una app que se llama  FEEDLY.  Basicamente, agrego los blogs que me interesan a mi lista, puedo organizarlos en categorías y cuando se publican me entran automaticamente  a mis lista de lectura. Acabo de leer que se pueden agregar no sólo blogs sino publicaciones de cualquier tipo y canales de YouTube también. Aprendo algo nuevo todos los días! Es así como empiezo mi día todos los días. Tomando café en la cama, inspirándome y aprendiendo de artistas de todo el mundo. Me pongo el despetador una hora antes de tener que levantarme para asegurame de tener suficiente tiempo para "mi".

I started "The Secret Garden" during my art retreat back in August. While painting it I was able to tap into that magical moment, space, call it what you want, in which things are pouring straight out from the heart. What a joyful experience that was!! I wish I was able to express it better in words. The best part of all is that I can always go back to that moment, that special state and create from there. Magic happens! I confirmed during this retreat how much I LOVE flowers and gardens. They ALWAYS have the ability to make me stop, smell the flowers and smile. Hopefully you have something that makes your own heart sing! I will be creating a lot more work along these lines in the near future!! :)

Isn't it fun to see the painting in a room like that? I used an APP called IArtView. You are able to upload your image there and it's placed on the walls of these virtual rooms. You can set the size you want (this is the real size of the painting by the way, it's a big one!)  . They have only a couple of rooms in the free version but you can always pay for more variety.

Last Week I took this painting along with a few others to Olympic View Golf Course. Two good, very talented friends, Sharlene Stushnov-Lee , Deborah Czernecky and myself have an ongoing art display on the walls of the restaurant and lobby. We refreshed all the art last week and it looks great! Do stop by to see them, grab diner or lunch there as well, the food is excellent!

Comencé "El Jardín Secreto" este verano pasado en el retiro de arte que hice en Agosto. Mientras pintaba este cuadro pude conectarme con ese lugar, espacio, momento, llamémoslo lo que querramos, en el que las cosas salen directamente del corazón. Qué experiencia feliz!! Ojalá pudiera explicarlo mejor con palabras! Lo mejor de todo es que puedo conectarme de nuevo con ese momento y crear desde ese espacio. Magia! Confirmé  la pasión que siento por las flores y los  jardines. SIEMPRE tienen la habilidad de captivarme y hacerme sonreir. Espero que todos uds tengan también algo que les haga acelerar el corazón! Voy a  crear muchas mas cosas como estas en el futuro próximo!!  :)

No está buenísimo poder ver el cuadro en habitaciones como estas?? Usé una APP que se llama IArtView. Podés cargar tu imágen y  se muestran  tus cuadros en las paredes de estas habitaciones virtuales. Se puede cambiar el tamaño, este cuadro es de verdad de ese tamaño, es enorme! Tiene solamente dos habitaciones en la versión gratis, pero se puede pagar para tener mas variedad.

La semana pasada llevé "El Jardín Secreto" y otros cuadros a la Cancha de Golf  Olympic View.

Dos muy buenas y talentosas amigas, Sharlene Stushnov-Lee y Deborah Czernecky y yo montamos una muestra permanente ahí en el restaurant y lobby. Quedó muy bueno! Pasen a verlo si quieren y  aprovechen a almorzar o cenar  en el restaurant, la comida es muy buena!

I haven't shared a zentangle for a while now and here goes  one I did a few weeks ago. I am trying something different, I did them on paper (as always) but this time I am mounting it on a wooden cradled panel so it can be hung. I'll show you the finished product next time (if it works :)
Settled in is a reflection on being more settled in in our home and a new life in a different part of town. I am trying to connect with people in this area and form a new network of people (not to abandon my old network!!)  There is growth (like new flower beds in my garden!) and it is for sure starting to feel like home. I am slowly pulling out Christmas decorations, waiting for my daughter Camila to get home in a cuple of weeks to do a whole bunch of homey activities with her!

El Secreto: Sigan Adelante

Hace bastante que no les muestro un zentangle y aca va uno que hice hace un par de semanas. Estoy probando algo difernet, lo hice sobre papel, como siempre pero esta vez lo he montado sobre paneles d emadera para poder colgarlos. Les muestro en alguno de los proximos posts  como queda (si queda bien!!)
"Asentada" es una reflexión sobre el estar ya mas asentados en nuetsro nuevo hogar y la vida nueva en una parte diferente de la ciudad. Hay crecimiento  (como nuevos canteros en mi patio) y ya nos estamos sientiendo mas en "casa". Estoy tratando de conectarme con gente en esta zona y armar una red de amistades (sin olvidarme de las amistades antiguas!!) De a poco estoy sacando las decoraciones de Navidad, estoyesperando a que mi hija vuelva de Vancouver para hacer con ella un montón de actividades navideñas!

A Year of Art Making: November - Month 2

November - Month 2 of A Year of Art Making
Noviembre - Mes 2 del Año de Hacer Arte

A few days ago marked the end of the second month of my 260 Days of Art Making Project. I love to pause and actually take stock of what I did accomplish during this time! So far I had been feeling I hadn't gotten as much done these past 30 days BUT when you actually sit down and look..... it's not bad! Not everything is show-worthy of course but that is not what it is all about at the moment.  Not everything fit in the collage so I left a few pieces out.

So I am just plugging along with my commitment to a year of disciplined art habits. I am learning to recognize my own patterns and the fact that it is ok to have days that are less creative or rather, days in which not as much gets accomplished. In the end though,  when you do tally up, it all adds up.
I need  to find the best way of organizing the day. Sometimes I paint first and then do the "office" side, like blogging and posting. Sometimes I do it the other way around. Don't knowwhat I prefer yet.... What I am finding is that it IS true that you DO spend a lot of time doing those other things that are related to painting, just as I hear lots of successful and experienced artists say.

This is what happened this last month:

- I created 26 days out of 30
- I blogged and posted on social media at least twice a week for the whole month. (less than last month but still ok for me)

- Finished 3 small paintings from plein air or from photographs

- Did 2 small paintings from life

- Did 4 zentangles

- Did 4 zentangles on Bird Houses

- Did 6 abstract colour studies
- Did drawings/illustrations and sketches

- Did 5+ mixed media projects

- Attended a Calligraphy class and a weekend workshop on Mixed Media.

- Painted a T-shirt for my son's Halloween costume!! ;)
- Published my first newsletter. Something that has been on my to-do list for quite a while and finally took the time to learn how to do it!  (If you are not on the mailing list for it, you can sign up right here)

I am pleased that I am exploring as I wanted and I am working on improving my skills all the time. I am going to count monthly from now on as it seems easier. I am on day 56 of 260 though..... getting to a quarter of the way there???

Hace algunos días concluyó el segundo mes de mi proyecto 260 Días de Hacer Arte. Me encanta pausar y ver lo que he echo durante este tiempo! Hasta ahora  me parecía que no había echo tanto como el mes anterior PERO cuando uno se sienta y evalúa la verdad es que no está tan mal! No todo es para mandar a exhibiciones por supuesto, pero eso  no es lo que estoy enfocada en este momento. No entró todo lo que hice en  este collage que puse arriba, dejé algunas pieza afuera.

Asi es que sigo en marcha  con mi determinación de hacer un Año de Disciplina de Hábitos Creativos. Estoy aprendiendo a reconocer mis ritmos y el aceptar que es ok tener días en los que no se logra demasiado. Al final, cuando uno cuenta, todo suma. Necesito encontrar la mejor forma de organizar el día. A veces pinto primero y después hago las tareas de "oficina", como el blog. Y a veces lo hago al revés. No se todavía qué prefiero. Lo que sí estoy encontrando es que es verdad que todas esas otras tareas relacionadas con mi pintura llevan mucho tiempo, como he escuchado que dicen a muchos artistas con éxito y experiencia.

Esto es lo que conseguí hacer este mes pasado:

- Creé arte 26 días de los 30.

- Escribí el blog y en medios sociales de forma consistente todo el mes. (Por lo menos dos veces por semana, menos que el mes anterior, pero suficiente para mi)
- Terminé 3 cuadros de fotos 

- Hice 2 cuadros  de naturalezas muertas en el taller.

- Hice 4 zentangles

- Hice 4 zentangles en casitas para pájaros. 

- Hice dibujos, ilustraciones y bosquejos 

- Hice 5 omas trabajos de media mezclada.
- Fui a una clase de caligrafía  y a un curso de un fin de semana para aprender sobre Medios Mezclados. 

- Pinté en una remera para el disfraz de Halloween de mi hijo, ;)

- Publiqué mi primera carta de noticias, algo que hace mucho tiempo que tenía en mi lista y finalmente le dediqué el tiempo para aprender a hacerlo. (Si no están en la lista, pueden anotarse acá, pero es una carta en inglés por  ahora. Voy a ver de crear la misma en español y les aviso para que se anoten en esa lista )

Estoy contenta porque estoy explorando como yo quería y sigo trabajando para mejorar mis habilidades. Voy a empezar a contar por mes de ahora en adelante. Voy por el día 56 de 260.... Ya casi tengo un cuarto echo!??!!  Muy contenta!!
