Another one for the "contemplating pile" :)  ... There are so many things I am enjoying here and there are of course a few that I still need to view and evaluate whether to and how to change.... but isn't that what painting is? Going through the different stages of a painting and solving each individual "problem" as it arises?? What I like the most about this painting is the palette and the sense of peace it gives me, just like when I am sitting there looking at that scene, enjoying the present moment.

Otra para la "pila en contemplación" :) .... Hay muchas cosas que me gustan de este cuadro, y por por supuesto hay algunas otras cosas que necesito ovservar, evaluar y decidir si las cambio o no y cómo..... pero  no es eso lo que es pintar?? Pasar por las distintas etapas del cuadro y resolver cada "problema" de forma individual?? Lo que mas me gusta son los colores y el sentimiento de paz que me da, igual al que siento cuando estoy en ese lugar, disfrutando del presente.

This is the finished painting

For the last couple of days it has been my intention to get ahead a day but both days I ended up painting late in the afternoon  and bigger that I am used to so there has been no time left for a second one..... hopefully tomorrow!

I am not done with the tulip fields as you can see.....  the yellow ones are really hard to capture because it is a ridiculously intense almost fake looking yellow. I remember  the light changing with the sun coming in and out and sometimes you would get just a sliver of  a colour that completely changed everything! Absolutely incredible colour! As with most pieces these days, they need time to rest and I need to evaluate what will be changed if anything. The paintings themselves will tell me what they need. :)

Hace un par de días quiero poder adelantarme un día haciendo dos cuadros pero he terminado pintado tarde y más grande de lo que estoy acostumbrada asi que no llego a un segundo.... ojalá que mañana sea el día!

No he terminado de explorar los campos de tulipanes como verán..... los amarillos son dificiles de caputrar ya que el amarillo es tan fuerte que se ve como si fuera artificial. En algubos momentos, con el sol entrando y saliendo, se veía apeas una lía de color, absolutamente incríble! Como con todas las piezas que estoy haciendo estos días, tengo que dejarlas descansar y yo necesito evaluar lo que hace falta cambiar. :) Los cuadros mismos me van a decir lo que les hace falta!
